PodBox Memphis Podcast Festival

The Memphis Library Foundation and local radio and podcast veteran Ena Esco present the third annual PodBox Memphis Podcast Festival, the city’s only festival dedicated to podcasters, content creators and other multimedia professionals. Serving as keynote speakers are Loren LoRosa, senior news producer for iHeartMedia’s The Breakfast Club, on Saturday, and Dr. Jamal H. Bryant, renowned pastor, podcaster and Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, on Sunday.

Free and open to the public, PodBox features sessions exploring the impact of AI on media in general and podcasting in particular, storytelling techniques, the value of authenticity to build a brand, monetization strategies and more, all designed for current and aspiring podcasters. The festival includes a fireside chat with Mayor Paul Young, along with workshops and presentations led by notable Memphians, including award-winning podcaster Dominic Lawson, Emmy-nominated music producer/engineer and award-winning Crosstown High School teacher Ty Boyland, general manager of WQOX 88.5FM and C19TV in Memphis-Shelby County Schools (and former pro basketball player) John Best, and Hot 107.1 radio host TK.

Podbox takes place Saturday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 28 from 3-6 p.m. at the Cossitt Library, 33 S. Front Street in Downtown Memphis. Whether you are looking to start your podcasting journey, an experienced podcaster, an avid podcast listener or just someone exploring community events, PodBox is a welcoming space!

The 2025 PodBox Memphis Podcast Festival is sponsored by the Memphis Library Foundation, iHeartMedia Memphis, LeMoyne-Owen College & Magic 807 Radio, the National Civil Rights Museum and Commissioner Mickell Lowery.
