Pickles: Voices of the South’s Second Sunday New Works Series

Celebrate Mothers’ Day with a mother of a play!

What is the price for derailing your life to save someone else’s? Now her daughter has grown and left. So who’s going to push her life back on track? Not all sad clowns wear make-up. But when they do, does it make them funnier or more sad?

Pickles is in development with Voices of the South’s Writers’ Workshop.  This diverse group has been writing in tandem every Monday night since May 2020. Consisting of Chicago, Memphis, rural Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and New York City-based playwrights, poets, and novelists, the group gives one another feedback on short writing sections when we meet.

Come and be part of the writing process and share your feedback with the playwright.
