Peer Power Foundation Hosts 9th Annual Big River Crossing Race to Support Memphis Students
Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Family Fun Walk return to the riverfront on November 15.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (November 11, 2025) — The Peer Power Foundation is proud to present the 9th Annual Peer Power Big River Crossing (BRX) Race, taking place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 8:30 AM CST. The event will begin at Martyrs Park, Channel 3 Drive, Memphis, TN, and will include a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Family Fun Walk.
Participants in the Half Marathon and 10K will cross the Mississippi River’s longest public pedestrian bridge, offering views of Downtown Memphis and the Arkansas floodplains, while 5K runners and walkers can enjoy a scenic one-mile course along the riverfront in Tom Lee Park.
Participating in the race requires registration, but community members are invited to come cheer and celebrate at the start/finish line. Proceeds from the BRX Race serve as Peer Power’s largest annual fundraiser, directly supporting students across Shelby County through the organization’s peer-to-peer tutoring and mentoring programs.
