Orion Free Concert Series Welcomes Occupy The Shell
Concert begins at 11AM sharp.
2022 Orion Free Concert Series at Overton Park Shell. Picnic baskets, beverages, blankets, and lawn chairs are always welcome. We also offer food and beverage for sale in our ShellEats community area. Dogs on a leash are welcome in designated areas. Overton Park Shell is a nonsmoking facility.
About Occupy The Shell:
Occupy the Shell is a free, community-organized, one-day music festival. It features a unique and diverse mix of: globally recognized artists, local legends and up and coming stars. Various ages, genres of music, and styles are represented.
The purpose and design is to bring the Mid-South communities together in a celebration of culture, art, life, love and the historic Overton Park Shell.
Occupy the Shell began in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which left many musicians out of work. It is a safe, family-friendly environment where spectators and fans come together to hear the best of Mid-South music and get turned on to new artists and musicians.
