Memphis Symphony Orchestra brings you another magnificent evening with their Masterworks Series presenting Fluid Impressions with Debussy and Bates. Debussy’s La Mer is the pinnacle of musical impressionism. Be swept away by the colorful, swirling evocations of the sea. Contemporary composer Mason Bates returns to Memphis with his impressions of water – from the cracking of glaciers to a raging thunderstorm. Cellist Zuill Bailey performs Lalo’s luscious Cello Concerto.
