Memphis Mushroom Festival 2026

The Memphis Mushroom Festival is back on October 17th, 2026 at Overton Park, Memphis, Tennessee. This is  a free, community-centered educational gathering focused on practical, hands-on learning with a theme, “Food Sovereignty—in your own backyard.”

Held in the Mid-South, MMF offers workshops, demonstrations, and talks on growing food, working with fungi, caring for soil, plant medicine, and nature-based wellness—skills people can actually use at home and in their communities.

This is an educational experience, not a marketplace.
The focus is on participation, skill-sharing, and learning together.

By prioritizing access and shared knowledge, MMF supports community resilience and collective care.
