Memphis Library Foundation hosts “The Business of Sport: Memphis Athletics From Peewee to Pro”

The Memphis Library Foundation is hosting its annual “Cocktails and Conversation” panel discussion and fundraiser with a focus on the Memphis athletic community. The panel explores the sports world’s advantages and its challenges for athletes and their communities. The event features four leaders in Memphis sports organizations with sports columnist Geoff Calkins moderating. The panelists are Dr. Adam Walker (University of Memphis), Faith Walker (Memphis Inner City Rugby), Jason Wexler (Memphis Grizzlies) and Jonathan Torres (Memphis Athletic Ministries).
