Memphis Joy Prom

MEMPHIS JOY PROM, A FULL SCALE PROM FOR SPECIAL NEEDS FRIENDS AGES 16 AND UP.

A group of local churches and organizations work together to make this the event of the year for our special needs community.  Christ Church, Second Presbyterian Church, Grace Evan Church, Germantown Presbyterian Church, Young Life Capernaum, The Avenue Community Church, and St. Michael’s and St. Patrick’s Presbyterian.  This same TEAM often collaborates with other projects.

Participants get the whole package: including professional prom pictures, limousines rides, jewelry, photo booths and the list goes on. There is NO COST to the participants. Their dresses are free and their tuxes are covered.

We are so thankful for our 600 plus volunteers that help us each year.

MJP continues to look for sponsors and volunteers who are willing to love on this community.
