Memphis Dance Festival

The largest free celebration of dance in the region on National Dance Day 2023!

Gaining recognition as the preeminent dance festival in the region, join us for a free, family-focused community event presenting the best dance makers in the nation including Memphis’s own Lil Buck plus artists from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre (NYC), New York City Ballet, Alonzo King LINES Ballet (San Fran), SOUL Defined (DC), Nashville Ballet alongside many hometown favorites including the Grizz Girls, Ballet Memphis and Collage Dance Collective! Also, enjoy a special performance from the Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band (New Orleans).

This year’s festival also includes a highly-anticipated performance by the Grammy Award-winning Rebirth Brass Brand (New Orleans).

Nearly 3,000 Memphis area residents attended the festival in 2022. The festivities continue this year with a day of top-notch dance performances, live music, food trucks, community partners, small business vendors, raffles, and more during the largest celebration of dance in the city of Memphis!

The Memphis Dance Festival is free and open to the public.
