ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Terrice Thomas is a graduate of Jackson State University (Jackson, MS) where she received a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. She also holds a master’s degree in public administration from Keller School of Management (Oak Brook, IL). Terrice is the Director of Memphis Programs for Project Transformation Tennessee, where the mission is to transform communities by engaging children, young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships. She also partners with local schools, non-profits, and businesses for workshops and trainings. Passionate about pouring into the next generation, she volunteers as a mentor for high school students in Reach Memphis. She also serves as a youth/young adult leader at New Direction Church. Terrice is an active member of Junior League of Memphis and the Jackson State University Alumni Association-Memphis Chapter. She is also a graduate of Leadership Memphis. During spare time, she enjoys writing, exploring Memphis’ live music spots, and spending time with her son, Kerwin, and fur baby, Yam.
