T. Kevin Bruce is a member of the law firm Bruce Law, PLLC. Mr. Bruce’s law practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate, business and commercial transactions, public finance, general business law and estate planning. Mr. Bruce has also served in the Division of Corporation Finance of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., where he regulated various types of securities (e.g., stocks and bonds) transactions, as well as participated in law-making and interpreting.
Mr. Bruce has participated in several legal professional organizations, including the National Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Memphis Bar Association, the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the H.T. Lockard Foundation, Inc. In addition to conducting a number of continuing legal education and other seminars, Mr. Bruce has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Memphis, teaching courses entitled “Real Estate Practices” and “Business Associations”.
Mr. Bruce earned his BBA degree in Finance, with magna cum laude distinction, from Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis). He then earned both his Juris Doctorate (JD) and his Master in Business Administration (MBA) degrees from the University of Virginia.
