Live In Studio A: Summer Series with 926
Join us at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music each Tuesday from 2-4 pm June 4 – July 23, 2024 for live music by 926, the Stax Music Academy Alumni Band! Admission is free for all Shelby County Residents – bring your ID and get ready to groove to the sounds of Memphis.
These are singers and musicians who have graduated from our world-renowned Stax Music Academy and are now either attending college or have graduated college and working as professional musicians. Many have graced concert stages throughout the country and the world, including Australia, Italy, England, France, Germany, New York City’s Lincoln Center, Washington D.C.’s Kennedy Center and Smithsonian Museum Festivals, and here at home at Overton Park Shell, B.B. King’s Blues Club, Memphis in May, and other venues.
