Lines That Move Opening Night

OPENING THIS SATURDAY- – Lines That Move brings together new work by Jodi Brewer, Lisa Williamson, and Paul Behnke—three artists whose shared studio space has fostered a deep dialogue about abstraction, process, and lived experience. Brewer’s site-specific sculpture explores the body through fragile, tactile materials; Williamson’s Arctic-inspired paintings register ecological grief and personal reflection; and Behnke’s expansive canvases weave memory, myth, and the spiritual into layered fields of color and gesture. Together, their practices show abstraction not as escape, but as a way of engaging the urgencies of our time—with vulnerability, resilience, and imagination.
