Learn to Knit a Hat with Whitney Wiggs

Join us in this class where you’ll knit a basic hat. This class is a great first and approachable in-the-round project to master your new circular knitting skills.
Whitney Wiggs will guide you on how to start with the long-tail cast-on, join to knit and purl in the round and work basic decreases.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED-Beginner. Students must know how to cast on, knit, and purl. If you are not familiar with these techniques check out one of our monthly beginner knitting classes to learn all the basics.
Yarn and circular needles are included in your class fee.
About the Teacher
Whitney Wiggs is a historical costumer with a passion for all fiber arts! She owns and runs the local yarn shop *Fiber Arts Shop* that is now located in a studio space in Arrow Creative. There is never an end to her learning and teaching, she can often be found giving helpful advice in the Brother Sewing Studio and telling people about the up and coming sewing classes. Over 20 years of sewing experience and continuing education, as well as her research skills developed while learning Biochemistry in college, give Whitney the ability to quickly research and return the knowledge to those requesting it.
