La Bohème presented by the University of Memphis Opera

Don’t miss La Bohème, the passionate, timeless, and indelible story of love among young artists in Paris presented by the University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music Opera.
The opera follows Bohemian writer Rodolfo and seamstress Mimì’s whirlwind romance, as both struggle with life as impoverished Parisians. La Bohème brings the joys and heartbreaks of young lovers to life in an endlessly tuneful and touchingly beautiful performance.
Puccini’s imaginative treatment of character and situation, his instinct for dramatic and comic effects, and his radiant, supremely expressive musical portraiture have helped make La Bohème one of the world’s most popular operas.
