Joy Rising: Block by Block

Joy Rising: Block by Block is a citywide movement to educate our people on how to stay safe, grounded, and cared for while resisting fear and control from the National Guard and federal agencies occupying our neighborhoods.

We’re kicking off our first Joy Rising Pop-Up Block Party November 16th, a day of music, food, art, and collective healing; to show that joy is an act of resistance and that our neighborhoods can be both safe and free.

*This event will feature: Live DJs, drummers, and neighborhood performers, kid activities, On-the-spot Know Your Rights mini-trainings, free food, and mutual aid resources
