Jazz on Juneteenth with Symmetry Jazz Band

The Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library is excited to welcome back the Jazz Band Symmetry to commemorate Juneteenth. Symmetry will play the music of African-American jazz giants such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Louis Armstrong and provide background information on the composers and their pieces.This concert was made possible by a generous grant from the Music Performance Fund and The Memphis Federation of Musicians, AFM Local 71.
