Jazz in the Box: Caity Gyorgy

Two-time JUNO Award-winning Canadian vocalist, writer, and composer Caity Gyorgy—known for the beboping, swinging style emblematic of the Great American Songbook—has taken her talents wide and far. When she isn’t performing at renowned venues and festivals internationally, she’s collaborating and recording with artists such as Christine Jensen, Pat LaBarbera, Ira Coleman, and more. Her compositions have been sung by other vocalists around the world and have won multiple awards including the Grand Prize in the jazz category of the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
