International Survivors of Suicide LossDay (Survivor Day or ISOSLD) is the one day a year when people affected by suicide loss gather in their local communities to find comfort and gain understanding as they share stories of healing and hope.
Survivor Day was created by an act of Congress in 1999 and since then has been sponsored and supported by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Every year, hundreds of organized events are held in the US and around the world.
A local Survivor Day event will be held in Memphis on Saturday, November 18 at Church Health Community Room at Crosstown Concourse from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Parking information: Free parking will be available at Crosstown Concourse. This event is free and open to adults and adolescents with parent(s)/guardian(s) for additional support who have lost anyone in their lives to suicide.
