Inflation Vacation at Chef Tam’s Underground Cafe
Let’s be real—everything is expensive these days—but Memphis is about to get a break. Every Thursday from September 22nd to October 13th, the first 75 Memphians who walk into Chef Tam’s Underground Kitchen will enjoy an Inflation Vacation!
In partnership with Wesson cooking oil, Chef Tam’s Inflation Vacation will feature a menu that’s fixed with 90s prices.
They’re bringing us back to a time when dining out didn’t cost so much—and doing something extra to give back to the community.
Meals that would normally cost $17-$18 will only cost $10, for a limited time—and every meal purchased could put a plate on someone else’s table! Each time @purewesson is tagged in a social media post with the hashtag #InflationVacation, Wesson will donate $5 to the Mid-South Food Bank.
The Memphis-made cooking oil company has pledged to match up to $10,000. With Chef Tam’s mighty menu, hitting that goal should be a breeze!
