Inaugural Black Tie Charity Gala
MEMPHIS, TN: Salt Bistro and Lounge will host its inaugural Black Tie Charity Gala on Dec 17th at 7 p.m. The event will take place at 3101 S. Mendenhall Street and will serve as a fundraiser and celebratory event for The Elite Performance Foundation.
This upscale gala will feature live performances, signature meal entrees, and a special word from Mayor-Elect Paul Young,
“The Black-Tie Gala is a night dedicated to celebrating and acknowledging the amazing and life-changing work taking place in the Memphis community.,” said Alveto Tutwiler Owner of Salt Bistro and Lounge. “Organizations like The Elite Performance Foundation uplift the City of Memphis by organizing outreach events and improving the quality of life for underserved youth. Salt Bistro and Lounge wants to ensure that their efforts are acknowledged and identify ways we can help them continue to meet their mission.”
The Elite Performance Fund is a non-profit organization designed to improve the quality of life of underprivileged youth in Memphis through the art of boxing. The organization has been instrumental in facilitating youth camps, donating water and air conditioning units to the elderly, and providing self-defense classes to the community. They are also helping families in need for the holidays by hosting a Toy Drive on December 21.
