Hadestown: Teen Edition
New Spark Performing Arts presents Hadestown! This full-length edition features an incredibly talented teen cast, including recent National High School Theater Best Leading Actor winner Bradley Bolden.
Hadestown tells the story of two interwoven myths: Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. It reimagines the classic Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, set in a post-apocalyptic world inspired by New Orleans. In the story, Orpheus, a talented musician, falls in love with Eurydice, a young woman seeking a better life. When Eurydice is drawn to Hades’ underground factory, Hadestown, promising stability and comfort, Orpheus ventures to the underworld to bring her back, facing a deal with Hades and a test of his love and faith.
