On September 15, we are introducing our Griot Voices series with Dr. L. LaSimba Gray as our very first speaker!

For centuries, griots have been the living repositories of West African culture, preserving the triumphs, traditions, and truths of a people through epic poetry, music, and oral history. We are proud to continue this tradition, honoring the rich history of our community and keeping these important stories alive.
