Free Family Day at Stax Museum
Join the Stax Museum for a fun-filled afternoon with free admission from 1–4 PM!
August’s Free Family Day at the Stax Museum is our Back-to-School celebration, featuring an afternoon of free activities, live entertainment, and community resources for the whole family. Enjoy live music from The Quéludes, themed arts and crafts with the Metal Museum, and special performances from The Soulsville Charter School Band and Cheer Team.
Families can also take advantage of health and physical appointments, school supply giveaways, a community vendor fair, food trucks, and more. Plus, guests will enjoy free admission to the Stax Museum, where they can explore the history of American Soul music and the lasting legacy of Stax Records.
