Fall Fest Fundraiser at Grind City Brewing
Join Generation Spirit and Varsity Spirit in kicking off the fall season with an evening of family fun that supports inclusion for young people with disabilities!
Hosted by Grind City Brewing Company on October 16 from 6-9PM, Fall Fest will include bingo, activities for kids, a silent auction, food trucks, and more.
Proceeds will benefit Generation Spirit, a national nonprofit focused on breaking down barriers between young people with and without disabilities. Learn more about Generation Spirit here.
ABOUT GENERATION SPIRIT
At GenS, we believe that everyone needs a cheerleader and anyone can be a cheerleader.
For fifteen years, GenS has partnered with schools from coast to coast to create spirit teams that bring together students without disabilities. GenS teams harness the unifying power of school spirit to actively cultivate a culture that values and celebrates all students.
In addition to creating inclusive spirit teams, GenS works with schools to implement comprehensive disability awareness education, equipping students with the tools and understanding needed to be better friends and allies to their peers with disabilities.
GenS knows that true inclusion is impossible without accessibility, and that includes financial access. Funds raised through this event help ensure that cost is never a barrier to starting an inclusive spirit team or bringing necessary disability awareness curriculum to students.
