Urevbu Contemporary is pleased to present Elikia: Echoes of Ebony Hope, a solo exhibition featuring new paintings by Congolese artist Doudou Mbemba.

Doudou ‘s style is inspired by the personal details of his Central African upbringing. Doudou’s figures are colorful snapshots of beautiful Black people living at their best or living as they want to be seen or remembered.
