Dragon Boat Festival

This is the very first dragon boat festival in Memphis and it will become an annual event.  It is not just for one local community.  It is for the whole Memphis because everybody is welcome.  The dragon Boat race was featured as a demonstration sport at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.  And it is becoming increasingly popular all over the world.  A lot of the major cities have annual Dragon Boat Festivals.  Little Rock has been having this event for the last ten years.  By initiating this fun-filled exciting event, the Chinese community is adding another brilliant color to the Memphis rich cultural rainbow.https://www.facebook.com/MemphisChineseCommunityCenter/photos/a.106312815411110/229157773126613/
