Cremaine Booker @ Cafe Noir

Returning for the second year of the Iris Collective Small Business Series, cellist Cremaine Booker is deepening Iris’ partnership with Jasmine Settles, founder and owner of Cafe Noir. Booker is an acclaimed and versatile artist who spans gospel, classical, film and popular genres both as a cellist, singer and arranger. Settles has opened Cafe Noir to spread the love of literature in and for Black, queer Memphis. Booker will be joined by two local poets, Tara Stringfellow, author of Memphis, and Bria Saulsberry.  Join us for this unforgettable evening of music and poetry and stay afterwards for a special after-party hosted by poet and comedian PhatMak.

The event is finished.
