Creative Aging 4th Annual Art Show
Join Creative Aging on Saturday, September 14 from 11:00am to 1:00pm for the opening reception of their 4th Annual Art Show featuring work created in Creative Aging Studio Courses. This juried selection of work will be on display at Theatre Memphis from September 11 through September 30.
Creative Aging’s Studio Courses engage learners 65+ in participatory, skill-building courses in the arts. Courses include painting, drawing, mosaics, pottery, music, theatre, literature and more. This year’s art show includes 45 pieces selected from over 118 submissions of varying media. Our thanks to community partners at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens and the Urban Art Commission who served as this year’s jurors.
