Craft Supply Swap
Drop Off
Drop off your new or gently used goodies Tuesday through Friday during the week before the swap. We will sort and arrange all the stuff into a second-hand craft supply extravaganza.
No donations will be taken on swap day, please save them for the next time.
When you drop off your donation, we’ll add your name to the EARLY ENTRY guest list to the Swap.
If you want to donate a load that is more than an armful, please make an appointment so someone will be available to bring out a cart and help you off-load.
What to Bring
Of course we can’t possibly know all the awesome stuff you may bring in, but if you’re wondering what kind of swap this is, let this be your guide:
New or gently used craft supplies donations including, but certainly not limited to:
MARK MAKING: inks, pencils, paints, brushes, pastels, erasers, chalks, charcoals, markers
FIBER: yarn, fabric, thread, embroidery supplies, knitting needles/crochet hooks, thread, patterns, ribbon, quilting tools, dressmaking, sewing machines, sewing notions
TOOLS: scissors, glue guns, soldering irons, craft knives, hole punches, easels, photo equipment, pottery tools, rulers

BOOKS: art/craft instruction books, art/craft magazines, patterns, and store bought crafting kits
If you can buy it at the Art Center or Michael’s, chances are it’s a good fit.
What NOT to Bring
If it stinks, we don’t want it.
Please don’t bring anything moldy, dirty, super heavy, or in need of repair. We love the old, cool, vintage stuff, but if it isnt functional, please leave it at home.
This swap is not for antiques or curios, it’s about usable crafting and art making materials and supplies.
We do love fabric but we can’t use your small scraps (less than a fat quarter), cut up t-shirts, stuffing from your sofa, old pillows or clothing.
We also ask that you leave the hazardous materials in your garage, including oil-based solvents, house paint, dry paint tubes, stuff that is crazy heavy, etc.
If it cannot be used immediately and without rehabilitation as a crafting material, supply, or tool, please don’t bring it.

Craft Swap Rules:
No dope smoken, No cursin, No freeloden. Oh, wait – that’s Ernestine’s.
KFGF rules say no hoarding, fighting, pushing, shoving, or yelling. Unless you’re yelling about how awesome that marker set is!
Get here early to get the your hands on the best stuff. (Extra credit for bringing kolaches to the Swap Staff!)
So come find the tools to try a new craft, some project material that hasn’t been available since 1986, or maybe even a replacement for that one tool they don’t sell anymore.
