Comedian Mandee McKelvey (Laugh Factory, Limestone) headlines Flyway Brewing Comedy Club

Flyway Comedy Club (formerly High Cotton Comedy Club) showcases the funniest touring and local underground comedians we can find to Memphis audiences the last Saturday of every month. This month’s headliner is one of our favorite touring comics and master comedic storyteller, Mandee McKelvey! Based out of Louisville, Mandee’s been a favorite of Midwestern and Southeastern festivals for coming up on a decade now and was well worth the price of admission last time she came through Memphis. Featuring a lineup of recently moved to Memphis from Atlanta comic Ali Haider (Laughing Skull Comedy Club regular), local favorite Jowa Horn, and host Zach Williams, this’ll be a fun easy way to get through the last legs of winter.

Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8:30. Tickets are $10 online, but $15 at the door, so get them ahead of time!

About Mandee: 

Mandee McKelvey was recently named one of the 50 best undiscovered comics in the country by Thrillist, and it’s not hard to see why. As one of the midwest’s most acclaimed stand-up comedians, Mandee is revered for her ability to spin tragedy into comedy. Mandee recently headlined the first ever MiddleGround Comedy Festival and Columbus Comedy Festival, as well as filming her first comedy special. She was named a breakout performer at Limestone Comedy Festival. She has recently featured for Michelle Wolf, Hannah Berner, Laurie Kilmartin, Tig Notaro, Whitney Cummings, Todd Barry, and Anthony Jeselnik. Her one-woman show, My Left Boob, received the Underdog Award for it’s sold-out debut at the 2019 IndyFringe and Kansas City’s Best of Fringe award in 2022 and 2023. Mandee produces the celebrated roast show Character Assassination and the storytelling show We Still Like You.
