Beautiful hand made costumes and amusing, lively choreography transport the audience to Clara’s world in the late 1700’s. Children and teens beautifully trained in classical ballet traditions are the stars of this Memphis treasure, directed by Mary Van Dyke and Erin Walter. Guest dancers from Tennessee Ballet Theater will perform. “Clara & the Nutcracker” will be held at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis, on Sunday December 4 from 2:00-3:30pm.
