Christmas Tree and Clocktower Lighting

The most wonderful time of the year is upon us!

Join Thornwood’s annual holiday event on Thursday, November 21 and enjoy Christmas lights, photos with Santa, a gingerbread house competition, family-friendly crafts, live music and more. This event is free and open to all!

The event will run from 6-8 PM. The tree and clocktower will be lit at 6:30 and photos with Santa will be available from 6:30-8.

To participate in the gingerbread house competition, you’ll need to make a gingerbread house prior to the event. Bring it with you, submit it at the start of the event and have your friends and family cast their vote. We’ll name a winner later that evening.

The prizes for the gingerbread house competition are as follows: 1st place – $50 TCBY, 2nd place – $25 Crave, 3rd place – $10 Buff City Soap

The Thornwood staff will be on the look for the ugliest Christmas sweater. The winner will receive a $25 gift card to Uncle Goyo’s Mexican Restaurant.

Finally, Jojo’s Espresso will be serving free hot chocolate and apple cider, Crave Sweets will have pastries and treats for purchase and Buff City Soap will have a bath bomb painting station.
