Celtic Crossing Whiskey Pairing Dinner

Join us for a whiskey pairing dinner hosted by our in-house whiskey thoroughbreds DJ Naylor, Reny Alfonso and Nick Proctor. With three rare whiskeys carefully selected by DJ and Nick, paired with a three-course menu thoughtfully created by Reny, you’re sure to have a wonderful evening at the pub. Tickets are $75 each and do not include gratuity.

FIRST

Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old: This is considered to be the first ever whiskey to be treated with a finishing cask technique. Sir David Stewart seasoned the newly made American oak casks with his selected Indian rum. When he felt the casks were ready, he replaced the rum with whiskey to finish the distillate that was aging in former bourbon barrels for 14 years.

Yellowtail Ceviche: Green Apple Aguachile, Crisp Plantains, Red Onion, Peppers, Cilantro, Lime

SECOND

Nikka in the Barrel: This dram launched in 1985 and is a very unusual Japanese whiskey. Blended in bourbon barrels, sherry butts and refill hogsheads, it is bottled directly from the barrel and thought to be “one of the best value whiskeys in the world.”

Roasted Duck Breast: Sweet Potato Puree, Sweet Potato Crisps, Charred Bok Choy, Citrus-Honey Jus

THIRD

Fercullen 18 Year Old Single Malt : This exceptional limited-release whiskey is produced at Powerscourt Distillery by Master Distiller Noel Sweeney. It has been matured in bourbon barrels for over 18 years to deliver a truly exceptional award-winning whiskey.
