Casting Bookends: Foundry Class

This course will introduce students to two-part mold making from patterns with flat backs. You may choose from a variety of bookend patterns that we have in our foundry or create your own. This introductory class will expose students to green sand mold making, and each participant will leave with two bookends in aluminum. Students will have a chance to pour their own piece and be introduced to basic finishing techniques.

No previous experience required. Ages 15 and up are welcome.
