Books from Birth Spring Luncheon hosted by Porter-Leath

Porter-Leath invites you to leaf through the pages and help encourage young readers by attending the annual Books from Birth Spring Luncheon, presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. This year’s luncheon will be hosted at the FedEx Event Center at Shelby Farms on Thursday, May 9 with doors opening at 11:30 AM and the event starting at 12:00 PM. Enjoy a wonderful lunch while featured speaker, James Pond, President and CEO of Tennessee’s Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation, shares his wealth of knowledge and experiences in relation to strengthening early literacy in Tennessee. Additionally, Porter-Leath will be announcing the winner of and presenting the A C Wharton, Jr. Literacy Award.
