Block Print Valentines Cards at Arrow Creative

Create your own valentine’s with block prints!
We will create simple designs to carve, ink and print. Students will use relief printmaking tools (linocutters, speedycarve, speedball ink, brayer) to create their own special cards. A perfect class for any skill-level or great refresher. Students will be able to keep blocks they create and use on paper or fabric in the future! Supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own tools if you have them.

About the Instructor

Kait Harris is a printmaker and painter located in Memphis, TN. Kait earned her BFA in printmaking from Saginaw Valley (MI). She is also a Speedball Demo Artist and teaches classes in the Memphis area. Her subjects include nature, female forms, landscapes and color fields. She has recently branched out into textile design as fine art and for home goods purposes. She enjoys playing with color when she isn’t printing to balance out processes.
