August Renters’ Rights Clinic

With the help of nonprofit partners The Works, Inc., Memphis Area Legal Services, United Way Mid-South, West Tennessee Legal Services, and the Community Legal Center and sponsored by the Eviction Diversion Initiative, the Shelby County Division of Community Services is hosting a series of monthly renters’ rights clinics—one in each of the County’s districts.  

The first half of the clinic consists in an educational presentation about tenants’ rights and landlords’ responsibilities by one of our partner nonprofits. In the second half, attendees will be able to meet one-on-one with our attorneys to discuss personal landlord-tenant issues.

Attendance is free, and people from all across the county are welcome.

Our August clinic will be on the 23rd from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Greenlaw Community Center. Please see the attached flyer for further details.
