Artist Showcase – Alexandra Baker
Join us Thursday, June 27th for light refreshments and a chance to take home your favorite new piece of art.
Alexandra Baker was born in Boston and raised in Memphis, TN. After spending time in Italy and San Diego, she has returned to her roots and creates art in Downtown, Memphis.
Alexandra began painting in 2018, and has had her work published in three editions of British Vogue, one Edition of Vanity Fair, as well as selected for the “Best of Dallas” 2022 from The Other Art Fair, Dallas.
Having taken art classes as a child, she approaches the canvas as an adult with a different intention than she had been taught – one of healing. A divine pressure drives her to paint and create works of art whose primary purpose is to heal. Healing through color and texture is the artist’s way of communicating with the world.
