Art Club

Have you ever wanted to know more about Memphis’ extraordinary art collection at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art? Join us for our monthly Art Club, where you can get an in-depth look at a different work of art each month. Led by art history professor Mallory Sharp, we’ll spend each Art Club learning about the artist, their influences, the historical context, and other fascinating details that give us a fuller understanding of the diverse artworks on view at Memphis’ art museum. After each discussion in the gallery, stick around and continue the conversation over a coffee or glass of wine in our cafe with new friends.

Mallory Sharp received her PhD in the History of Art and Architecture from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2024 and is currently an instructor in the Art History department at the University of Memphis.
