Arbor Day 2025

Join the movement to plant trees and make a lasting impact on our environment. Together, we can enhance our community’s natural beauty and support wildlife for generations to come. On Saturday, March 29th, the City of Lakeland will be giving away almost 200 free saplings to the community! Trees are first come first served and will be located at IH Park, 4523 Canada Road between 10 AM and 12 PM.

Tree options include the following:
-American Elderberry
-Eastern Red Cedar
-Flowering Dogwood
-White Oak
-Pecan
-Persimmon
-Tulip Poplar
-Eastern Redbud
-Red Mulberry
-Shagbark Hickory
-Witchhazel
-Wild Plum

Please note we will only allow ONE Dogwood or Eastern Redbud per pickup. Help us celebrate our status at Tree City USA by making our community even more beautiful!
