Join a lunch & learn with the teams at Protect Our Aquifer, Memphis Community Against Pollution, Black Millennials for Flint and Sierra Club to learn how we can #ProtectOurAquifer!

The Memphis Sand Aquifer is our special source of water – Memphis is the only city in the US to rely 100% on groundwater. With people power, we’ve stopped a pipeline, landfills, and TVA wells from poisoning our water. Now, the latest science shows our protective clay layer is more like swiss cheese and modern water is sinking down, threatening our water with industrial pollution.

This event aims to educate about these threats, who’s supposed to be protecting our water, and provide the community a space to voice ideas and/or concerns so we can move forward together to #ProtectOurAquifer!
