Applied Underwriters Invitational – PKD Foundation’s Driving Home A Cure
On Monday, October 16th, as part of the Applied Underwriters Invitational, golfers from throughout the region will be teeing off as part of the PKD Foundation’s Driving Home for a Cure golf tournament.
Since 2021, roughly $2,000,000 has been raised to support polycystic kidney disease research and education programs aimed at improving the quality of life for the approximately 500,000 Americans suffering from PKD.
The Applied Underwriters Invitational™, The #1 Charity Event in Golf, supports charitable partners in holding up communities and championing those in need. Each year, over 11,000 golfers play in approximately 75 tournaments benefiting more than 65 national and local charities across the U.S. Since its inception, the Invitational has conducted more than 4,400 tournaments, raising over $276 million in net proceeds for its benefiting charities.
The winner of the Driving Home A Cure tournament will be invited to compete in the Applied Underwriters Invitational national finals which will be held in May, 2024 at the acclaimed golf destination Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri.
