An Evening with Rick Monroe and The Hitmen
TLG/Virgin recording artists Rick Monroe & The Hitmen will kick off their 2024 spring tour on Saturday, February 10 at Memphis’ world famous Hernando’s Hideaway (3210 Old Hernando Rd.). Showtime is 7:00 P.M. Tickets are $15 (plus $4.31 in service fees) and are available via worldfamoushernandoshideaway.com, at rickmonroe.com, or at this LINK.
Rick Monroe & The Hitmen’s upcoming performance at the famed venue comes the day after the group is scheduled to release their latest single, “Worth The Hurt,” to both country and radio. Co-written by Monroe, Jared Weeks and Scott Wilson of Saving Abel, and multi-Grammy and multi-Dove award-winning producer and composer, Skidd Mills (Skillet, Third Day, Saliva, Katie Arminger), “Worth The Hurt” is indicative of the group’s signature “poly-jam-orous” sound they call “Blue Jean Rock.” Spiced with a heavy blend of the group’s musical influences (classic rock and ’90s country), their music reflects country sensibilities with a rock and roll beat–a sound they say “fits like a favorite pair of blue jeans–both comfortable and classic and never goes out of style.”
