Calling all fashion enthusiasts and history lovers! Join us for an inside look at how fashion history informs contemporary designers like Christian Siriano from Ali Bush’s point of view, in the ‘Christian Siriano: People Are People’ exhibition on August 1.
Ali Bush is a museum educator and historian based in Memphis, TN. Bush is passionate about studying art and popular imagery through the lens of fashion and idenity. Bush received her master’s degree in Fashion History from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. Her work at the Courtauld focused on how American subcultures have used fashion, accessories, and even automobiles to aesthetically convey their values to the world.
