A two-story brick house with a gabled roof, bay windows, and a well-kept lawn, surrounded by trees. The architectural style features a mix of brick and half-timbered elements, making it a highlight in the 48th Annual Central Gardens Home & Garden Tour.

48th Annual Central Gardens Association Home and Garden Tour

The Central Gardens Association is pleased to announce the 48th Annual Home & Garden Tour, taking place on Sunday, September 8, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This year’s tour will showcase the elegant and historic homes along Peabody Avenue and the surrounding area north of Peabody, providing a unique glimpse into some of Memphis’ finest residential architecture and interior design. This area north of Peabody has not been included on the Home Tour since 2015.

The 2024 year tour will feature several homes owned by some of Memphis’ most admired interior decorators and will include residences with the exquisite millwork and craftsmanship that these historic properties are known for. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a range of homes, from stately properties to charming cottages, each offering its own unique character and style.

A highlight of the tour includes the architecturally significant Kimbrough Towers, a landmark in the neighborhood. In addition, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Miss Lee’s Preschool at Grace-St. Luke’s School with a special tour at this historic site.

The Hospitality Center, a tour favorite, will make its return, featuring food trucks, local musicians, and more.

The event is finished.
