2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration @ Levi

Please join us at the Levi Branch Library for our second annual Juneteenth Celebration. Our special guest will be Ms. Elaine Turner, one of the legendary Lee Sisters who were arrested several times for leading protests during the 1960s in Memphis, Tennessee. She is also the curator of Slavehaven, W.C. Handy Home and one of the operators of Heritage Tours Inc. of Memphis. We have also invited Opera Memphis for a special performance that will certainly add an additional flavor to our celebration. Light refreshments will be served.
