10th Annual Klondike Smokey City Foster Care Awareness Parade and Festival

From 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at Cathedral of Faith Church, 2212 Jackson Avenue, the Klondike Smokey Community Development Corporation will host a Foster Care Awareness Parade and Festival to bring attention to the urgent need for foster parents in the community.

 

The parade will start at the KSCCDC Community Resource Center, 943 Vollintine Avenue and end at Cathedral of Faith Church with family-friendly entertainment, interactive booths and access to essential services for foster families and the community.

 

“We believe that every child deserves a safe and loving home, and our mission is to connect potential foster parents with the resources and support they need to make a difference in a child’s life,” said KSCCDC Executive Director Quincey Morris. “
