East Buntyn Artwalk: April 18

The East Buntyn neighborhood, between Central and Southern Avenue, is gearing up for their sixth artwalk on April 18th.

This year, the East Buntyn Artwalk will highlight the skilled local artists, expose the diversity of East Buntyn, and gather neighbors together to enjoy each other’s company and bond over art, music, and food.

Neighbors will open their yards to the artists, so that the artwork can be displayed in an open environment. About 60 artists with unique styles will converge to exhibit the marvelous works from water colors, paintings, and oils to textiles, pottery, and woodwork. Jewelry and stained glass works will also be featured.

One lucky person can win a wonderful wine basket including 2 wine glasses, a bottle of wine, a corkscrew, a bottle topper, and a pour spout. You can win this set by posting photos on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtags #choose901 and #EBArtWalk.

St. James Church will serve as the port by providing entertainment, a silent auction tent, and local food trucks. Maps will also be available for free so you can see where your favorite artists are located. You can purchase the 2015 East Buntyn Artwalk wine glass at St. James to use for free beverages and appetizers at the home galleries. This event is family and pet friendly.
