Commemorating Juneteenth in Memphis
We know what happened on the 4th of July and we’re vaguely aware of the meaning behind St. Patrick’s Day, but what about Juneteenth? June 19th
MAM serves to coach, grow, and lead the youth of Memphis by helping them identify their relationship with Christ and their place within the community. MAM provides Christ-centered mentoring programs for children, ages 8 to 18, in seven centers in economically challenged neighborhoods across the city. Each program is designed to help youth overcome generational poverty by developing the knowledge and skills to reach their potential.
The MAM mission is to see identity found, hope restored, and lives restored.
